Ville Tirkkonen appointed Manufacturing Manager at Kemplink

We are developing our production organization to support Kemplink’s growth. As part of this, Ville Tirkkonen has been appointed Manufacturing Manager as of 1 November 2026. Ville holds a Master of Science (Tech.) in Mechanical Engineering from LUT University.
As Manufacturing Manager, Ville makes sure our products are manufactured on time, to a high standard of quality and safely. He is responsible for day-to-day production management, quality control and the maintenance and development of our production equipment, as well as environmental matters in production. Ville will lead the team of production operators that we are recruiting, and he reports to the CEO.
What attracted you to Kemplink?
“Kemplink is a new company and the first in Finland to enter the charging cable business, and that appealed to me. Another factor was that Kemplink is backed by Kemppi Group, a Finnish company with deep roots and a long history.”
What do you see as the keys to Kemplink’s success from the perspective of your new role?
“Success in this industry requires manufacturing that delivers good, consistent quality. To achieve that, we need manufacturing methods tailored to our products and full traceability. We also need to build a strong and skilled production organization.
My background supports the role well. I have a solid foundation in engineering design combined with hands-on experience, and my previous work in multidisciplinary organizations has prepared me well for this position.”
Congratulations to Ville on his new role, and we wish him every success! From now on, please contact Ville directly with any production-related matters.
